The former chief strategist for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, Mark Penn discusses the current political climate in Washington, D.C., heading into November’s midterm Congressional elections. He is the coauthor of the book "Microtrends: The Small Forces Changing the World," and of a monthly column "Microtrends" in the Wall Street Journal. Currently, Penn serves as the worldwide CEO of Burson-Marsteller, a leading global public relations and public affairs agency, and president of Penn, Schoen, and Berland, a strategic research firm.
