Former White House Counsel John W. Dean became famous for his testimony during the Congressional investigation of the Watergate scandal, which led to President Nixon’s resignation. Prior to his tenure in the White House, Mr. Dean earned his J.D. from Georgetown and worked as chief counsel to Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee. Following his time in the White House, Mr. Dean became a noted author and historian on politics and the presidency. In addition to writing, Mr. Dean is currently a columnist and commentator on contemporary politics.
