Television producer Eric Overmyer discusses his new HBO drama, Treme, which follows post-Katrina New Orleans and discusses the city’s struggles to recover after the devastating storm. The show’s title refers to an historic New Orleans neighborhood, known for its rich culture, that continues to fight for revival. Overmyer is an Emmy-nominated writer/producer of numerous shows, including Law & Order, St. Elsewhere and The Wire.
