Wayne Leonard is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Entergy Corporation. He graduated from Ball State University with a degree in accounting and political science, and then attended graduate school at Indiana University. Ball State has since awarded Leonard an Honorary Doctorate of Law Degree and placed him in the Business Hall of Fame. In 2003, he was awarded the Georgetown University Business Leader of the Year and winner of the Institutional Investor Best CEO (for energy/electric utilities) in both 2010 and 2004.
