Bob Drogin covers national security and intelligence for the Los Angeles Times. He has served as a national correspondent based in New York as well as a foreign correspondent in Asia and Africa where he covered events such as Nelson Mandela’s election as president in South Africa, genocide in Rwanda, and the Persian Gulf War. A Pulitzer Prize winner, Drogin most recently authored "CURVEBALL: Spies, Lies, and the Con Man Who Caused a War" in 2007 which describes the role of Iraqi informant who was a key source for claims that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.
