Steve Scully

The Road to the White House

C-SPAN political editor and senior executive producer Steve Scully chronicles the early stages of the 2008 presidential campaigns in a public address at the Clinton School. Scully discusses following the campaigns of all the Republican and Democratic candidates and revisits C-SPAN clips of memorable moments in past elections. He also addresses C-SPAN’s unique approach to cable news that allows for equal air time for all candidates, regardless of front-runner status. Scully caters to his Arkansas audience in talking about the small state’s unique claim to producing two leading candidates: former Governor Mike Huckabee and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
