In a public address hosted by the Clinton School, Martin Indyk, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, discusses his experiences during the Clinton Administration serving as an adviser and then as ambassador to Israel. He describes the lessons that can be learned from the Clinton Administration, with concern to Israel, and how those lessons can be applied to current measures being taken in the area.

Bio

Martin S. Indyk is a Senior Fellow and Director of the Saban Center for Middle East Policy in the Foreign Policy Studies program at The Brookings Institution and former U.S. Ambassador to Israel. He served as special assistant to President Bill Clinton and as senior director of Near East and South Asian Affairs at the United States National Security Council. He has taught at the Middle East Institute at Columbia University, the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies at Tel Aviv University, and the Department of Politics at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
