Dick Dresner, national pollster and researcher, discusses the mood of the American public before national elections of November 2006 in a public address hosted by the Clinton School. He predicts the outcome of all the major races including the House of Representative, Senate and gubernatorial races. Dresner discusses the significance of money in modern day elections, and how it has changed the way elections are won. He predicts that the Democrats will take control of both houses of Congress. He also talks specifically about how to win in Arkansas as a Republican. He briefly discusses the presidential election of 2008 and the current frontrunners.

Bio

Dick Dresner has 30 years experience as a general consultant, media producer and pollster. In addition to his domestic clients, including former California Governor Pete Wilson and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and President Bill Clinton, he has worked overseas with the Conservative Party of Great Britain, and most notably in 1996 he provided strategic advice to Boris Yeltsin of Russia. He was awarded the "International Consultant of the Year" for his work in Russia. He has served as the senior vice president of the Harris Poll, where he coordinated national election polling for ABC-TV.
