Ruth Lincoln, 109, is believed to be Arkansas’ oldest living person. She was born on September 30, 1897 on a farm ten miles outside Oklahoma City. She is a graduate of Oklahoma A & M, currently Oklahoma State University. Lincoln has lived in Paragould, Batesville, Little Rock and Van Buren, where she and her late husband, Ben Lincoln, assisted the development of the county library. She is the grandmother of Dr. Steve Lincoln, the husband of Senator Blanche Lincoln. She is still an active member and regular attendee at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock and also enjoys playing bridge four times a week.
